Title: Server for all the coin wallets
Post by: PondSea on August 31, 2014, 11:19:13 AM
I am in the process of setting up a new server to house all my altcoin wallets.

I am thinking about having a host machine then running VMs of linux for each wallet i keep. Does anyone have something similar setup? I would probably have 5 VMs open at any one time, the ones that does POS.

I don't know much about altcoins, but for my btc, I just use paper wallet: I keep the secret key private, and I use the public key to store btc.
Then, whenever I need to make a transaction, I put the private key to an online wallet (blockchain.info) and I use the btc, then I send the remaining btc to an other paper wallet.

It is much easier than having a dedicated computer to run wallets at all times.
