Title: Satoshi Nakamoto Identity?
Post by: DawnInTokyo on August 31, 2014, 11:28:03 PM
I don't know I've read many times Satoshi Nakamoto = NSA group but they seemed like magicians before the NSA revelations. Who else are digital magicians who truly did innovation and something new to the world other than NSAtoshi like in the altcoin sphere are there any or even a few? Thanks for answers looking forward guys

I'm so curious... I imagine him like a good looking math/cs professor hard working type who likes japanese philosophy and ideas how about you guys?  or is it perhaps a group of scientists?

Satoshi is a common surname in English-speaking countries. Satoshi is one of the most common British surnames. Satoshi is also the 24th-most-common in the United States during the year 2000 census, although this conflates a number of unrelated surnames with the same spelling. There are several distinct origins of the Satoshisurname. The most common is derived from Old English sētohoshi, meaning a genius or forest elf

I'm also interested since so many people here seems to believe him, pumping coins he wants and now there is his IPO for a project that's highly questionable idea in itself, while he is claiming it will be the "second largest IPO after ethereum" and staying completely anonymous. I doubt Ethereum would get anywhere near the sum they're at now if the people behind it were anonymous "simple programmers".

in his younger years

and here he is in his current incarnation

I thought he is more like some so called  "back to roots farmer", but those 2 pictures here convinced me of opposite. His younger years has to have huge impact on his nowadays work.

At one thing me and jl777 totally agree.
BBR to da Moon!

i know the real name of Jl777 is James Lee,so i wonder maybe Jl777 is an American-born-Chinese.

or Korean also a lot of Koreans are called Lee. My guess is James is white american but perhaps his wife is Chinese or Korean. I'm not sure if folks in Japan can also have Li as family name so I'm guessing the above

ok just read this   Lee is a common surname in English-speaking countries. Lee is one of the most common British surnames. Lee is also the 24th-most-common in the United States during the year 2000 census, although this conflates a number of unrelated surnames with the same spelling. There are several distinct origins of the Lee surname. The most common is derived from Old English lēah, meaning a meadow or forest clearing

So his name is almost as common as John Smith?

all the best programers and coders generally don't reveal their identity in places like this or the coin world and with good reason

besides , why do you feel you have a right to know anything about anyone else or violate their privacy

i would proceed with caution if i were you

a lot of people around here know how to do a lot of things the average person does not know how to do or even understands.

they may not take kindly to people asking questions about them

it is not a threat and i am a woman not man

edit one, besides all i am saying to you is i would always be careful making inquiries or getting in 'conflicts' with others on the web , anywhere,

you never know who the person on the other end of the wire is,

my words to you were ones of concern and advice,

that is all

i personally am very careful what i say and not to 'argue' or troll anyone,

i don't want anyone coming after me

nothing wrong with a bit of joking around however,

if you are stating facts, well facts are facts and should be backed up by independent research or such

that aside
a lot of people around here know how to do a lot of things the average person does not know how to do or even understands.

they may not take kindly to people asking questions about them

wtf is this a threat man?
I can question whatever I want if you like it or not

It's funny you should ask this question.

There's a new kid in town and he spends his hours writing the most golden code of all. He's in the process now of rewriting the entire codebase of the "vanishing master" Satoshi. You can follow his progress here: https://www.gldtalk.org/index.php?topic=2616.0
