Title: HELP!Blockchain.info received coins remains unconfirmed - 0% network propagation
Post by: btcmagic on September 02, 2014, 05:35:58 AM
Hi all,

I'm really, really hoping someone can help me here. I purchased 3.45 btc from an Australian seller today, and the coins appeared to have come through at first, but have remained unconfirmed (at 0% network propagation).

I've attempted to rebroadcast the transaction using the raw hex on brainwallet, blockchain itself etc, but the response is always that the transaction already exists in the blockchain.

I really don't know how to resolve this and the seller says that it's out of their control.

If anyone knows how to resolve this, I'd love your help. I saw in one post, someone offered to 're-inject' the transaction and this resolved the problem?

Oh, and yes - the transaction was sent with a 0.05 fee from what I can see in the explorer, and it's a good amount of money, so I don't know WHAT is going on. I'm terrified I'm going to lose my money, or it will be returned to the seller.

Thanks in advance!!

So - good news everyone.

I figured out a way to get the transaction broadcasting to the nodes again (and got it confirmed almost immediately after doing this!).

Firstly, I 'sent' my coins back to my own wallet address (using 'quicksend') - this meant there was a 0.005 transaction relying on the other transaction being confirmed (may have helped??).

I then created another blockchain web wallet and transferred the whole balance (again, using quicksend) - surprise surprise, it was broadcast and confirmed!

To anyone else who has the same issues - get in touch and I will do my best to assist you!
