Title: [CLOSED] Domain Name BTC Loans - 8%
Post by: Btc4Domains on April 16, 2012, 12:16:18 AM
DOMAIN NAME BTC LOANS

I offer bitcoin loans to people with domain names to offer as security.

31 Day Interest: 8%
Daily Interest: 0.258065%

How Does it Work?
Once an agreement has been reached, you can push or transfer your domain(s) to me. When the loan is paid off the domain is pushed/transferred back to you. If I have an account where your domain is registered an instant 'push' should be possible between user accounts. If a registrar transfer is required it may take up to several days.
I send the BTC loan as soon as the domain is in my registrar account.

*Registrar transfer is slowest, but with most extensions will add 1 year to your registration that I pay for you.
A registrar 'push' is instant, once we have an agreement and as soon as the account 'push' is completed I send BTC.
*Whois Privacy is also Available

NO interuptions should occur to your hosting. There is no change in the nameserver settings. If you need nameservers updated before the loan is paid back, PM me and they'll be updated for you. Or you can change them in advance to a third party DNS service and update the third party settings whenever you need to.

What Sort of Domains will I lend against?
Developed websites of any description, so long as it's not obviously illegal or contains trademarks. In no particular order I am looking at: revenue, traffic, user/mailing lists and content. Anything that supports the fact your site has value and worth a loan. The more information you can give me the quicker a loan can be arranged.

Generic non-developed single word domains in .com .net .org and popular ccTLDs are fine.
Short Acronym domains are easy to put a value on: 1, 2, 3 or 4 Number / Letter domains in TLDs and ccLTDs are fine. Examples: ab.com, 123.cn, xyz.net, cd.co.uk, ap.com.au, usd.in

What Extensions will I lend against?
This is the list of extensions that can be pushed and or transferred relatively easily and without excessive effort. If an extension is not on this list then it doesn't necessarily mean I won't consider a loan. If an account push or transfer can be done, then we can probably do it too!
.co.uk
.de
.com.au
.cn, .com.cn
.nl
.it
.co.nz
.us
.in
.es
.cm
.be
.co

PM names and lists to me! Thanks

What percentage of a domain's appraised value are you lending?  And whose appraisals will you accept?

Have you heard of domaincapital.com?  They're more like 15-20% per year.

PM it to me.

I trust my own appraisal/valuation, if you disagree you're welcome to try and convince me otherwise.

Yes. I have been a customer of DomainCapital. Last I asked they charge 15% a year on purchases and require 40% of the purchase price, but that might have changed. I don't think they readily lend cash against domains.
