Title: Open source coin client with encrypted chat?
Post by: rocoro on September 03, 2014, 01:48:40 PM
I'm looking for an open source coin that has encrypted chat built into its client.

I know there are some coins out there with it in development but not open source or very limited source code. :(

I also heard blackcoin is working on fixing bitmessage and incorporating it but not sure if it will be in the client.

Any other ideas or coins that you know of?

Thanks.

Cinni's encrypted messaging is fully open source. https://github.com/Cinnicoin/Cinnicoin

Ah thanks,  is there going to be a mobile app / (lite version) android wallet with the messaging built in also?

Edit:  Oh, it looks like this coin is slowing down with development... too bad I hope someone picks it up!

Or maybe it would be good if a coin like xmr, would put that messaging in..  xc seems too closed source imo.

open source coin (OSC) has TX message feature ... but not a messaging.

if you have the talent to copy the messaging feature in
open source coin devs might be 'open' to the idea too
