I ended up buying two HIS from newegg for $450 each plus free dirt key (sell on ebay for ~ $15) about a month ago. $400 for a used 7970 is not unreasonable. In fact, I received a PM from someone today that will have two 7970s freed up within a week that they are willing to sell for $400 each. Since I'm no longer in the market, I'll send them your way. I am getting two brand new Asus 7970s this week. But I paid 500 each on eBay lol but still, 1000 for a single would be rad. Is it 3rd gen? I am SUPER interested. Check my sig, I do good deals. I have an sell or offer, I raised it to 3X7970. But you can pick up a 3rd card for as little as $400 second hand it be fine with me. $1200 Vs 3 months of waiting time + extremely low power.
