How do you know? We've had quite a few big merchants accepting bitcoin this year and the price didn't budge. In fact, it went down. I hope you're right about amazon though. It probably depends on if people actually uses bitcoin on amazon and how amazon treats the bitcoins after them get them. It's still a pain if you want to buy bitcoins, so Amazon is unlikely to accept bitcoin until that's resolved. This is how I see it play out. awareness -> regulation adoption -> banking adoption -> public adoption -> amazon adoption Title: Re: Amazon accepts Bitcoin?
