Post by: ErikvanBreen on September 07, 2014, 12:42:27 PM
Hey,

Just want to share this link, Zeusminer has released cloud mining now for $15.2/Mhash if you pay in BTC with a full year of free hosting.
I have some Mhs there for 2 days now and the payouts seem fine.

But feel free to use whatever you like :) was just pointing out what I think is a good cloud mining deal.

Edit: You can also check www.zeushash.com (http://www.zeushash.com) for the official release of Zeushash

No problem, if you read the OP you will notice that I offer to share the affiliate revenue with them which will give them an extra discount for free.
Don't know if posting the link without affiliate is more polite if the link with gets you a better deal  ;)

ZeusHash is a welcome addition. GAWMiners just reduced the price of their least expensive MultiHashlet to match the ZeusHash price. One problem with ZeusHash is your mH mine straight litecoin only. Hopefully when ZeusHash.com is officially open an option to mine a multipool will be offered. At the moment you can buy a GAWMiners Multihashlet for $14.95 inside ZenPortal and your mH will mine at multipool.us so you will get a better return than ZeusHash.

You might want to wait 2 days more for the official release (see www.zeushash.com (http://www.zeushash.com)), this might come with different pricing and more options for mining.

Rite now ZeusHash has only been returning about 1% per day mining straight litecoin

Thanks for the help everyone!

It looks like my estimate will be based on bitcoinwisdom's litecoin estimate for 1 MH/s.

0.02891 LTC = currently 0.1269 USD, so with an estimated 3.262 LTC purchase price we're looking at an approximate 0.886266094420601% current daily return.

I think GAW is currently a better buy but keep in mind hosting is free for that one year on zeus which is a huge chunk in maintenance fees on GAW. If you think 1mh is going to make a lot after 1 year you need to rethink your logic. It might make pennies if we are lucky.

Do your maths and you will find out that Zeushash mining LTC only is more profitable then a Zenminer from GAW.
But feel free to stick with them, I have no problems with that whatsoever  :D

Ok, so I'm pretty new to cloud hashing and I may be way off base here. But there is something really eating me up here. I tried my hand in cloud hashing with 3 different services.. Zeushash being one of them.

At first, Zueshash seemed pretty decent with a good daily ROI. Then they announced a great special on their MHS and I immediately started gathering a mass amount of BTC to invest more at this price (casue with that ROI, why wouldn't you?). However, just before I was about to make my large purchase, I received a message stating that "ooops, we haven't been charging enough maintenance fees from anyone".  As you can see, my maintenance fee has has increased by almost 100x!!!!

Now...I'm a logical and understanding man...and I understand accidents happen, however these are the issues I have with this.

1. What kind of stable and reputable company wouldn't notice they were losing this kind of money out the wazoo for weeks now...(or did they? which makes number 2 even worse)

2. Its odd that they ran a spectacular special on MHS and upped the referral % just day's before they "fixed" the maintenance fee's. Anyone that was getting that kind of ROI would surely have taken advantage of the special right? Just to find that what they bought after the fact is not what they were getting before.

Like I said...I could be way off base here but zeushash has just made my "scamy" list. If I had a way to get my money back or sell my MHS (and you cant, which I'm now certain is by design) I would pull it immediately and place it somewhere else as they have completely lost any trust I may have had in them.

Your older maintenance fees sure seem wrong, I can't verify or confirm it since I have a year of free hosting on my Scrypt hashrate at Zeushash.
