Title: 890FXA-GD65 - does it need molex injected extenders for x1 slots? Post by: GenTarkin on April 19, 2012, 11:48:00 PM I recently blew up my S939 board , I think because I didnt use molex injecting x1 -> x16 extender.
I am gettin ready to purchase GD65, I notice it has a PCIe 6pin directly on the motherboard for supplying power to PCIe Would I still need to use molex injecting extenders? I dont know if the board supplies that 6pin power to just the x16 slots or all the PCIe slots on mobo. Anyone know? |
