Title: Job for a web programmer Post by: FreeMoney on May 09, 2011, 04:30:30 PM I have an idea for a site. It will need to keep a current database (listen to the chain I guess) and look up data for users from a list of all known bitcoin addresses and the block number of the first transaction to the address. It seems simple to me, but I don't know what language one uses for this. If there is one clear choice please tell me and I'll modify the title.
It would be nice if the same person was willing to help with domain name and hosting stuff. If you have these sort of skills PM me and I'll share more details and you can make me an offer. Can I ask what the purpose of the site is? In other words, why would someone want to look up information about the first transaction made to a particular address?
