Title: Frozen Cryogenically 20 Years: Invest in Precious Metals/Stones or Bitcoin
Post by: abercrombie on September 10, 2014, 02:03:45 AM
What if you were to be frozen in a chamber for 20 years, would you rather be frozen clutching your life savings in Precious Metals/Stones or Bitcoin.

What if you were to be frozen in a chamber for 20 years, would you rather invest all your life savings in Precious Metals/Stones or Bitcoin.

Must I pick one? Diversity is key to any good investment strategy :)

If I did have to pick one though I would pick crypto currency - I don't have much logic for it, and it could well be a very poor choice - but that's my reflex reaction answer all the same.

It will be a lot longer than 20 years, but I can't believe so few people are opting for it:

How about keeping shares of the company doing the freezing/thawing? :)

jabba the hutt doesn't accept bitcoin so in order to stay alive when im unfrozen i'd diversify as follows:

    Galactic Credit Standard - 17.5%
    Druggats - 17.5%
    Peggat - 2%
    Trugut - 18%
    Wupiupi - 50%
    Aurodium ingots - 1%
    Nova crystals  - 4%

50% bitcoin
25% early stage tech companies in SV (via Angellist)
25% Gold
And I reckon I am ready to go into deep freeze

if it's only a fwe thousand dollars worth of bitcoin, i'll take the gamble and go with that. if it's a lot of money, and the choices are mutually exclusive, i'll take gold since it's a safer bet.

95% Bitcoin
5% Gold

If 200 years, 100% Bitcoin. Because by then we'll have asteroid gold.

I've voted BTC.

Anyways, when you invest some money, it's important to diversify the investment.
