Hi everyone,

i love children their innocent talk and company. 

Of all the topics made on Bitcointalk I've seen I think it's this one that creeped me out the most.

Kids suck. Too many don't ask "why?" Daughter understands cause and effect but never asks "why?" Drives me nuts.

I like kids but it needs big responsibility. I don't have kids right now, maybe one day.

Lol, what makes them nihilists exactly? They are annoying though. Don't want any of my own to be honest.

They don't care why things happen, they just seek rewards. Very animalistic - no philosophical framework.

Peeing in toilet = candy & parents look pleased
Pissing self = no candy & parents look pissed
Therefor, pee in toilet, don't piss self.

Without the candy incentive (doesn't care whether we approve or not), fuck taking time out of her busy schedule of telling a story about a horse who eats lots of hay and is blue and has friends with a thousand dollars and is a hippinpotmas - if she has to piss, she's doing it right there, right then. Maybe when she's ~four, things'll change. ... Or she's just outsmarting us. Unsure. Maybe the hardcore individualist streak is from us telling her, before going to church with grandparents, that Jesus comes down the chimney each Christmas to be burned alive so Catholics can eat his charred flesh and be pacified rather than killing us all. No, probably just bad luck -- some kids are just born weird, I guess.

Wtf? She's less than four years old! Why are you parents such fucking control freaks? She'll learn to stop pissing herself on her own, holy shit, I realise this may be just Kluge joking around of course but a lot of parents seriously worry the shit out of me with the way they almost literally treat their children as if they're destined to be their obedient slaves.

Mine is 6 and it's best thing that ever happened, I love kind just need to make more of them :)

I love my kids. They are annoying at times, great responsibility to take care of them, but they also say the most heart warming things, not just to please you, they really meant it.

Problem with kids - You never know how they are going to turnout.

Have the same problem baking a cupcake. We just have to do the best we can and have fun along the way.

Probably turn out like the majority of everyone else: wasted potential. I don't know how I'd feel if my kids grew up to be really nasty people or just fucked up in general.

Haha so true! Their mood can change almost instantly with no real cause. From happiness to hysteria in 5 seconds.
Not to mention how cruel they are, you have to protect small animals from them or they'll be petted to death.

I like kids,but it is a great responsibility to care for them.Also,you need patience and very strong nerves.  :P

Kids come with a huge responsibility so I am not ready for them yet but I like them for sure.

I like them in terms of showing them I care but not in terms of actually being there all the times.

I've got two. The 2 year old is a nihilist; he destroys everything in sight. The 1 year old is just quietly planning her rampage when she turns 2.

How do you come out of the womb and think holding meat out toward a hungry animal, then pulling it away when they try to eat is a good idea? Then she gets bit and cries and it's like... well, what the Hell did you expect to happen when you're an asshole toward something which bites? Don't cry at me, quit bein' an asshole! Idunno... I did the same dumbass shit as a kid. Outside the complete failures, most grow out of it, but it's annoying to read a story about a 5-year-old microwaving a cat or something, and everyone's trying to defend the kid who's being "scarred for life" by people saying only assholes microwave cats -- the kid knew what would happen - they're not that stupid - they're just all little sociopaths when they come out, and as far as I can tell from early childhood, it's the parent's goal to employ *ahem* "enhanced incentive alignment techniques" until they feel what we call empathy.

If adoption taxes/fees ever come within reason here, I think we'll try adopting a kid near the age of reason if we want another... the newborn/infant years seem more like we're just incidental guardians trying to keep them from eating their own shit and falling down stairs. She's starting to "get there," though... reading, making up some interesting stories... She's starting to get to the point where she struggles on purpose, and those are the moments which make it all worthwhile -- those glimmers of time where she's not just learning incidentally from experiences we thrust on her, but actively seeking experiences. She's starting to come to that point where we can start giving her rights and extra privileges, and that's what really excites me, because she'll have a rough framework in her head on what to do with that freedom.

they are cute and they can refresh my mind from stress

I swear my youngest is trying to kill me.  I often wake up to her covering my face with a pillow and giggling.

The oldest sent me to the ER before - kicked me in the nuts so hard that after 2 days I couldn't walk straight and thought I had a testicular torsion.

I don't want children as they're too much hassle and cost a lot, but I don't mind looking after or being with friends or families kids. They're alright for a few hours or whatnot, but I like the fact that I can give them back at the end of the day and have a nice sleep :D.

Kids kinda creep me out I don't know exactly why. With their big ole googly eyes and their broken and undeveloped logic. Maybe that's just me. I don't really want any kids. Babies however are cute.

It really depends. Not all kids are alike.

Kids can be funny, entertaining, and even give you interesting insights. But they also can be extremely annoying and stupid. It depends on their character and their current state of mind.

I think I like to have kids around sometimes, but not all the time, because I like to have my peace of mind as well. ;)

Yes I do like kids, but when they cry and cry not knowing what they want. Its stressfull.

Before I had my son, I used to dislike kids. They touch everything, are cranky, throw fits, are loud etc...
Now that I have my son, I am more tolerant, but still don't like them very much. I love my niece and nephew, but don't really like to be around other kids.
I'm not really sure why, they make me feel on edge.

Other than the bad smell from kids, they are alright.

I just love kids. I think 90% people of the world love kids and I am one of them.

I think I`ll adopt a kid around 12 years old, when you skip all the toilet stuff changing diapers etc.

It's hard to say in an all encompassing statement that one would love kids. There are definitively aspects of kids that are not so loveable and aspects that are.

Only kid I like is my daughter, I hate the rest :D

thats what id do XD id probably go a bit younger though and adopt them about 8-10 that way you can corrupt them to your own thoughts :D plus its about the age where they start to get interesting, they can talk (sometimes a bad thing) and play video games (id be at home all day playing video games with them) then get rid of them again when they get to about 16 XD if i could do that id be happy to have kids.

Kids are cool but im still young so i won't worry about them for now... but i would like to have only one xD but well who knows what will i want in future

i thought thered be alot more erm... abuse? on here about the title. and no matter what people say in here everything sounds wrong  :o kinda sad that that its instantly creepy what ever anyone say when a title is about kids. but thats thanks to all our wonderful western media for you soon its going to be a taboo to even talk about kids -.-

Kids are our future. It is not a matter of liking or disliking them. We needs kids. While they may be annoying and stupid at times that is their nature. We all were kids at some point in the past as well.

It really depends on the kids on my case. I can get along with my one cousin's little boy because he has a good mom who has taught him to be polite. But I don't visit my aunt's little kids very much because they're basically little brats. I'm probably never gonna have kids of my own mostly my goals and life plans don't leave much room for kids.

Yes, I've been very depressed the last few days and then a happy 4-5 year old boy came running along overcome with happiness over finding cans worth $3 - he proudly showed me them proudly and went to the nearest store to get them exchanged for money. Made me smile :)

Before (when I was younger and not married) I didn't think so much about kids.
Those days, I really think a lot about it, since I'm already a few years married but no kids yet.
