Good as example in not scamming you some day? You can never know when an anonymous dice site is disappearing and scamming customers. And actually you can get even into -% if some gambler is lucky enought to get the investment money down. So not even a secured investment to gain profit.

So I'm not exactly the most objective source, but I help run dice.ninja (https://dice.ninja), with a 1% house edge on investment. We've been running dice site's for ~ 6 months, including jpcdice (https://jpcdice.com) and darkdice (https://darkdice.net) and most people that have invested there in the past have felt we gave them a fair shake. :)

Be happy to answer any questions you might have.

As dooglus and others have pointed out many times there is no way to safeguard investors like you do players in a dice site.  The owner can always find a way to cheat you.  Right now there is just no way around investors having to trust the owner.

dicenow and bitdice.me are two sites I've seen that allow investment.  dicenow also allows you to invest litecoin.  The bitdice.me has litecoin, doge, and reddcoin sister sites.  You can also invest on peerbet, though I have not done so.

Good Luck!

After the DiceBitcoin downfall, I don't trust dice sites, even if reputable members(like Dooglus) support them.

Only one I trust is Primedice because they are around for more than a year and always have been pretty reasonable in all business matters, but they don't have the invest option.

This is good advice. Investing in dicesites just seems too risky to me. They can run a seemingly fair and honest site but can run off at anytime leaving all investors and even players out of pocket. A better investment would just be to buy and hold bitcoins in my opinion.

It would be interesting to start a webservice that listed dice sites by

Total invested / Average Daily volume * House Edge.

As well as various other data. Like a Dice comaprison site for both users and investors.

I might start such a website but would need to get the listings of various dice sites.
Is average daily volume data readily available on most dice sites?

Yeah, at least on Primedice, Just-Dice, PRDice etc.

A comparison would be nice.

To be honest investing on dice sites can turn out to be nonprofitable kinda easily, keeping in mind the risk of a site just running.

Correct, PD bankroll is funded by the admins only.

I believe the top crowdfunded dice sites right now are PRC dice and Bitdice.

In the moment they will introduce investing that should be a flag. while they are doing well they dont need investors as the profits go straight in theyr pockets . When and if they will accept investors that means they prepare a scam(wich i dont believe will happen because a casino will never lose)

I've just downloaded the clam client today. Interesting that dooglas chose to use an altcoin no one (well almost no one) has heard of before rather than bitcoin. I'll look into it and see where it goes, the real question is what will the value of clams be?

i wouldn't invest into a dice site, at anytime a dice site could close up shop and leave with all investors money. with that being said pick a well trusted site if any to invest in and do your research before investing.

On some certain sites such as PRC Dice and BitDice.me, you can invest in the site to share the house profit. The site owner usually takes 10% fee on your investment profit.

Now that I've got some clams from the clam alt-coin thread, I'm going to do some investing into Just-Dice with them.  I got $23 worth just from "digging" old btc wallet addresses, cool stuff. Check out the thread.

Nobody knows, we will see. It is why not huge amount of money are invested in just-dice. If you make 20% but lose 80% because CLAM crashed you will not be happy!

You can expect to earn 0.9% of the amount of coins wagered if the edge of the casino is 1% and the administration fee is 10%.
Some Bitcoin casinos have delivered 20%/year, others 50%.

You can try to guess what the demand of CLAM will be but for me the big question is what the supply will be? Only a small portion of CLAM have been dug so far.

This.
Clams currently benefit from hype caused by "re-opening" of JD. But if there are no other big things to come, its price will be likely decreasing over time.

On the subject, PRCdice is imo the safest choice for investing, also the v 2.0 is to be released shortly and it will include some more investment options, such as risk range from 1/4 kelly to 10x kelly.

Test preview:

https://test.prcdice.eu/ (https://test.prcdice.eu/)

Current site:
https://prcdice.eu/ (https://prcdice.eu/)

Other one is https://safedice.com/ (https://safedice.com/). They're advantage is variable house edge of 0.5% (attractive for players). Their bankroll is rather small (~BTC26), so you could get significant % of it by investing relatively small amount.

It is why there are only 230,000 CLAM=805 BTC invested but it should grow.

You should also note that the site owner has a negative trust from trusted members on the forum.
He is also know not to pay affliates, and skip promised pay for bug bounties.  I would be careful investing my money in such an owner.

He is also know not to pay affliates, and skip promised pay for bug bounties.  I would be careful investing my money in such an owner.

You mean the critical bug report, which wasn't critical, which you haven't properly reported and for which you demanded 1 BTC upfront payment (if I remember correctly)?

Not my fault if you don't go through the forum posts correctly, and just side with people, just because probably they have your investments or you get your 0.001 from affliates weekly.
Not your fault either, as when I was telling people to withdraw on DB, I got the same response(probably because 100's of people say that every day after losing).

And about that critical bug you talk about,  here is Dean agreeing to pay the 1 BTC : https://i.imgur.com/jtT5ewM.png
and here he is in chat, giving another excuse why he didn't pay up: http://oi59.tinypic.com/2dj4gon.jpg
Go figure yourself.

Tell me if I am so wrong, why did people like Bay who supported and promoted the site went against it?
Dooglus also supported the site in the beginning of dice launch, but clearly had lots of arguments on the thread.

You should probably reread  the entire thread properly. One does not get a negative trust for no reason.

...

I don't side with people just because they have my investment, if anything - it's the other way around.

What's the "0.001" about? Where did you get it from? Out-of-the-ass figure to suggest I shill for few pennies/week? Is that what you tried to do?

I'm not re-reading anything, as it's not worth my time (not very entertaining if you're not part of it), it's an issue between you and Dean, I just remembered that it wasn't a case of you simply reporting a bug and Dean not paying. There was a bit more to that story, wasn't it?

My problem is you trying to take revenge by spreading incorrect info. Lets take a look again:

You should also note that the site owner has a negative trust from trusted members on the forum.
He is also know not to pay affliates, and skip promised pay for bug bounties.  I would be careful investing my money in such an owner.

See the subtle plural form (in bold) you used probably to suggest it's notorious for PRC not to pay/scam/steal or whatever. While the true is (afaik):

- Dean has 1 negative from 1 trusted member (default trust) - BayAreaCoins, who is also the only affiliate who didn't get paid. Again, there's more to that story (but I did side with BAC on this one).
- Since Doog's bounty issue has been resolved (the hard way, but still), your bounty (deserved or not) is probably the only 1 not paid.

It's best to resolve your issues in the relevant threads, and if that's not an option, do it properly and write a full story, don't be misleading.

And as much as you may not like it, the fact is the PRC is currently the most trusted dice investment site (based on the amount invested). Feel free to prove me wrong.

how about justdice? :)

JD and doog are highly trusted, but since JD works with clam altcoin only, you will need to take the risk of clam/btc rate going up and down (http://take the risk of clam/btc rate going up and down).

You should also note that the site owner has a negative trust from trusted members on the forum.
He is also know not to pay affliates, and skip promised pay for bug bounties.  I would be careful investing my money in such an owner.

PRCdice is appreciated among investors, just-dice is considered the safest but you have the clam/BTC exchange risk and safedice is very risky, I wouldn't send too many btc to the site

PD is not an investment site, so it doesn't matter when thinking about investing.
And why do you say it is rigged?

I've tried primedice but I'm really liking coinichiwa's "Stop if balance over/under X" in the automated betting. :)

Let me suggest its satoshibet. Its a good site I ever see and used to play every time I gets bored my btc hahaha lol. I think no dice site will give you profit. All are scammed site and you always loose your btc.
First time you will earn some then you invest more and you loose all your btc then

That's the happy endings of your all btc that you made.

ENJOY 2015 DEAR FRIENDS

Thanks

As there is no contract when you invest in a dice site , invest what you can afford to lose. And if you know the site owner personally it is better  :D

Do you mean sometimes your bets have disappeared or have been skipped? Or you are just saying the "roll dice" button is sometimes unresponsive?

In the begiinning many dice sites need investments to increase their bankroll, max bet, max win, etc.

Primedice is not rigged, be careful to use new casinos and new bitcoin sites.

SafeDice.com (http://SafeDice.com) now implemented multiple investment options "kelly":

Yes, now we have multi kelly investment enabled. Investor can choose from the conservative 0.5x kelly to 10x kelly risk level.

Those are improvement for the players too, the max win has raised a bit since the implementation. Now any bet below 0.26 BTC will have < 1% H. E. ;)

To invest you need to ask for the investment option to be unblocked.

Primedice would be best if they accepted investors

They prefer keeping 100% of the profit for themselves and have a big enough bankroll to offer a max profit of 40 BTC per roll.

That's the advantage of sites with crowd funded bankroll, they can offer higher max profit, if someone wins big - the investors get hit. PRC has max profit of ~135 BTC and it keeps growing.

It's good for investors as it attracts big players, and if they want to reduce the risk, they can choose low kelly option (1/4 or 1/2).

Most gambling site offer a max profit of 0.5% of the bankroll. Just-dice used to offer a max profit of 0.5% of the bankroll.

Primedice probably has a bankroll of 4000 BTC.

^ You bumped this thread just asking this, the thread is 5 years ago and why you did not research your own instead.
However, I will still help you if you are truly looking for a gambling site that you can invest, actually there is a list here in the gambling discussion for your investment plan. You can check it on this thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5247587.0 and there is an actual experienced in gambling investment thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5239794.
