Title: blockchain.info api
Post by: arxwn on September 11, 2014, 08:08:52 PM
Hello people, at SatoshiHunt (http://www.satoshihunt.com) we used the blockchain.info while developing.
It seemed ok and we didn't believe there was a reason to look around.
Just before we launched for the public and started stress testing it,
all hell broke loose and payments didnt pass through, confirmations took forever.

In general we were very dissatisfied (the support was helpful but the product is not the there).
What is your experience with payment api's.

BlockChain.info's service is free, so actually you're getting what you pay for. Everyone uses them and they are overloaded. Their API will not be reliable as long as the service stays free.

I would suggest either looking elsewhere or building in some more redundancy by using an additional 3rd party callback notification service.

We already did that.
