Nice to finally see bitcoin get some good publicity for once instead of them trying to drag bitcoin down. It's not too often we see this but when we do it's always a great thing to see as it's something that can help bitcoin gain the exposure that it needs.

That was a great piece on bitcoin by channel 4 who usually provide better journalism vs BBC or ITV.

Report is not completely positive, it is optimistic. It is saying that electronic money can interest the rich and the poor and banks are watching bitcoin. Didn't really say banks are pro or anti bitcoin.

This type of news is not really good. The market price of bitcoin does't react at all. The massive recognition and adoption is still long way to go.

Because right now people buying Bitcoin mostly because of profit and expectation that price of Bitcoin will rise.
This will change when ''big'' merchants accept bitcoin and when Bitcoin become mainstream like Paypal.

I guess someone spend some time and learned about the advantages and also 'magic' of Bitcoin and decided to present an actually positive review. Maybe they're just heavily invested though and are not as altruistic, as we might think ;)

I think the UK media are all well invested in BTC this isnt the first pump we've had but its likely the best report so far.   How to get around the corrupt banking is the tricky part.

Wow, I'm actually quite shocked that the tone of that video clip was overall positive.   :o

Usually they'd fixate on Shrem, Silk Road, Gox, etc...but they actually focused on the positives and the potential.

Media approach to BTC was pretty neutral at the beginning, now it seems to be getting more positive.
 

Banks were already nervous, but now even start to admit it. That's an insane accomplishement in just 5 years time.
