Title: Male to Female Ratio Post by: dankkk on September 13, 2014, 11:42:44 PM How does the statistics page the male to female ratio of users? I do not remember saying my gender when I signed up for my account, nor do I remember making this designation anywhere on my settings

Also the multiaccount stuff can make the stats even more innacurate.

I can think of uses of pretending to female (googling pr0n and making people pay for it), but not that of pretending to be male. I've seen some members state they're a female just for a joke, and 99% of the others who state so are just taking any opportunity they can to assure you they're female to try scam you (other big giveaways are an obviously female name and constantly going out of their way to tell you or indicate/allude to them being a female at every opportunity).

They get insta-deny because most people that claim to be female are not. They go out of their way to make it known that they're "female", but can you tell me how this makes a difference in getting a loan or selling an item? There's no reason why anyone should bring up their gender when it's not relevant to transactions or forum discussion. |
