You can't report scammers as the staff dont deal with them, but you can post your evidence in the scam accusation forum and also make sure to leave them negative feedback and leave a sourse to your scam accusation thread.

Use the trust system
Open scam accusations
Use the service's topic to tell why you consider them scam, or open your own topic in the service discussion

Don't trust any user here, even if he is an Hero member...

You can post in the scam accusations forum what your findings are and any proof you have which will help with your case when mentioning the said person who scammed you. I do know staff can not deal with any kind of scam reports but it can make people more aware.

You can make public awareness for newbies to learn from the mistake.

Like similar on how I did here.

I'm just arrived and I found that in this forum there are several scammers, even high ranked, I won't trust anyone here...

The member rank doesn't show the trustworthiness at all. It simply shows how long the account has been created long time ago and how active the account has been.
Plus, bitcointalk accounts are actively bought and sold for bitcoin.

You should trust people with trust. That is, most people on DefaultTrust, and other that have at least a little trust rating/feedback.
Check that he has never attempted to scam before, and watch out for obvious stuff (the lending section).

You can post your report here. That way we can also be warned.

They shouldn't be posted here. Just leave appropriate feedback and/or make a scam accusation thread in the Scam Accusation forum.

Posting here might be a good idea. Especially if you know that the guy is active here on btctalk

He meant not here in meta (and don't). It goes in Scam Accusations.

Because of bitcoin's anonymity, and government free features, if you are having some problems with it, you are alone.

Best thing is to mark the thread with big red:

SCAM

So others don't get scammed as well, also leave negative feedback. Even though you are not on default trust, a smart person will look at the untrusted feedback as well, since only a small group of people have default trust.

Is that really helpful? It can surely be used by a scammer too..or just bad mouth a site.

It could and if you just keep posting SCAM in big red letters you could be banned for that, so please provide some evidence or a short explanation why you think something is a scam.

Some trolls use this to extort btc from bitcoin betting sites.
