That means we’re at a point where over the course of the next six months, there could be multiple publicly traded ETFs, a large derivatives exchange, and popular, consumer-friendly ways to pay for goods, all using bitcoin. It’s a striking contrast to the image of bitcoin just a few months ago, when the currency was almost inextricably linked to the Silk Road drug market and shadowy, Deep Web activity. Not all of these recent developments are exciting, or lend themselves to catchy headlines, but they are crucial for laying the financial groundwork for widespread bitcoin trading, and potentially adoption. We've moved on from debating online to creating infrastructure. I've got an invention that is being tested right now. Can't say anything more than that, but I hope you are also contributing your brain power. Of course, I was spared the days of being able to buy at low single digits so it all works out. :P

Albeit that is slowly changing but it takes time for that message to get put across about how Bitcoin is becoming a much more legitimate method of trade and is growing popular in usage as well. In a room of people I asked how many people have heard of bitcoin it was close to 35% its starting to get there and getting more attention for sure. |
