Title: Bitcoin "hash" explained (like you're five...) Post by: ofirbeigel on September 16, 2014, 12:44:57 PM I stumbled upon a question (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=226238.0) here in the forum a few weeks ago asking what i a Bitcoin "hash". Since I didn't know the answer myself I searched a bit deeper in the book and came up with this (http://99bitcoins.com/what-is-bitcoin-hash/).
