The stats page shows 73621 and 73622 being very fast, but the ones you mention only kind of fast.

I've gotten 3 blocks in the last 40 hours after not getting any for 18 days. 4000khash combined.

Sounds like you've got exactly the same luck as I do. Picked up 3 in 45 hours after 21 days without anything.

Nice. I know I said 18 days, but my luck realy wasn't that bad. I was turning off one machine for a few hours a day, and probably lost a day and a half in addition from internet troubles. SO probably 15-16 full days, oh and I wasn't even at 4k for the first week of that or so because I didn't have the faster generator yet.

edit: So you were quite a bit more unlucky than me.

My 1000khash laptop which I have sitting in a corner burning some hashes picked up two blocks in the past couple of days, wheras my PC which is on pretty much exactly the same amount of time as my laptop (slightly less) churning away 5000khash hasn't had a block for weeks :/

P4 machine is bouncing around 500 hashes. i7 is over 5000. I do a lot better with the i7 :D

My i7 laptop can only get 2500k  :(

i7 is over 5000

I get about 5500 on an idle i5, I assume "over 5000" is on a busy i7, not a fully idle one?

What happens if I ignore the anonymous OP?

What happens if I ignore the anonymous OP?

you'll ignore every single anonymous users on the forum. because they all have user ID of 0

tho it won't work right as their topics won't be greyed out.

*braces self for post deletion*

Guest = Anonymous (but not this user (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=45043))

This user is currently ignored.
^ you see that on their post, right? well it means you ignored them.

I won't be replying on this thread again. I'm afraid of banhammer  :P

Just like my school records will follow me for the rest of my life, what's posted on the Internet stays forever on the Internet. That said, would somebody be so kind as to point me toward at least one URL that has the page depicting what was originally posted in the OP of this thread?

If by happenstance it can't be found, I'd say some motherfuckers' been lyin' to us!
