Title: "Error loading wallet.dat: Wallet corrupted" Ubuntu 11.10, bitcoin 0.5/0.6
Post by: coincurious on May 01, 2012, 05:31:50 AM
I'm unable to read my wallet with bitcoin 0.5.4rc3-linux or 0.6.0-linux.

Any ideas? Anyone got links to Ubuntu bugs where I can say "this bug affects me"?

A couple 0.3.x versions and 0.4.1.1-beta work for me.

I got it working eventually. I'll close the loop now:

Using Bitcoin 0.4.1 with my old wallet (which apparently contains something corrupt), I was able to transfer my balance to a new wallet created from scratch with Bitcoin 0.6.0.
