I would sell my Bitcoins if the price drops to only double an Alt-coin I trust. Then I am going all in with the Alt-coin. How about you?

And even then, it's not so much a selling, as a little diversification, and a whole lotta spending :D

Well the thing I look at is that people are still buying BTC even if the price is lower. If people were done with it, they would have pulled the buy orders the set.

Not too worried. Much time and money is already invested into BTC... I cant see it hitting 100 dollars nor even 200... 300 is a stretch too in my eyes.

If bitcoin continues to plummet, the last place I would ever want my money is in any alt-coins. Anyway.... my cold storage stays cold for years from now. Even if bitcoin dies and goes to zero. I can only say that because I have taken many times my initial investment out. Now when I trade profitably, I both cash out dollars and top up my cold storage. My trading accounts are still all fiat with a small short position left open from $480s. Aiming to close in the $380-400 zone. My bids are mostly $300-360s.

I Made a decision : if i will be able to change life (and stop working) i will change my BTC (or part of it), otherwise i will HODL Until death.

I will hodl until my coins can only buy a pizza.  Then I will buy a pizza.  Then 6 months later I will cry because my coins aren't even worth a pizza anymore and that I should have used them to buy the pizza.

I already sold my fiat.

I have faith in Bitcoin.  I have no exit strategy.   HODL!  I am in this currency for the long term!

i will hold till the price is +$20000 and sell a few % of my coins to take profit and will continue holding the rest.
i am in bitcoin because i believe in it which will make me a long term holder.

I will hodl until the time is right. When is that time? I don't know, but I will when it arrives. Can't bring myself to spend any coins when I know bitcoin is worth much more.

Until $500 and no less. It just seems a nice value. If bitcoin was worth 1k at one point then half of that seems fair and reasonable to me.

I hold until I have something to spend it on. I use my bitcoin then I buy more.

In an ideal world, I wouldn't be intending ever to cash out much at all, other than a very small amount to take care of FIAT needs.  For everything else, there's bitcoin.

My upmost target is $450.

As soon as/if Bitcoin hits that, I am out. If/when it gets there, it will likely be assisted by a short squeeze on the CNY exchanges and on BFX.

After the culmination and the failure of this rally to break beyond the inevitable short squeeze asssited peak, then it is back to test (and probably breach) the $150 low as far as I am concerned.

Haven't really decided yet. I do spend my bitcoin while I keep most of my stash in cold storage rather untouched. Unless there is really a change of event that requires me to spend due to shortage of fund or some circumstances that forced me to, basically it will just be there. Holding on tight for now

The opposite i will follow this baby to the ends of the earth, if that is $1 then i am there with thousands of coins if it is 1000, 10,000, + i am there with enough to work for just myself  8)  If you believe in something you go all out! If you do not believe you quit both ways are the only way for that person at that time..

It's pointless to sell until you have 100% certainty that the price is bubbled, it's only to buy back cheaper again. Basically never.

I feel you. It was like that when I first started out.

My original stake was $10K non-retirement (average basis of right around $100/BTC) and then later $25K Roth IRA (basis around $700/BTC).  I did sell $5K worth of non-retirement BTCs (just to prove I could; and did claim the gain on my income taxes)) so my stake is down to $5K non-retirement.  Net:  $30K basis nominally worth $35K at the moment.  Since I'm strictly playing with my kid's money (so to speak), I might sell $30K more worth of non-retirement (reclaiming my original stake) at something <$340/BTC and just let the Roth IRA ride (house money so to speak) or wait until it's at the top of the next big bubble (although timing is so hard to do well).

If Bitcoin goes down hopelessly, those bitcoins will be forgotten and destroyed permanently.

I most likely will hold it for ever.

Some one once said : Bitcoin will either succeed or be worthless one day.  I will take the first option.

Of course I will sell a few Bitcoins if the price is interesting enough, but I will never sell more than one third of my stash.

Yeah, just sell a third today, a third of what's left tomorrow, a third of what's left the next day, and so on.

There's not enough options in the poll. I know I'll sell a bit at $400 and $500 just to buy some stuff to play with while waiting for another hype, but I'll keep the majority of my stash.
Even if it went to 1200 tomorrow I wouldn't sell all. There's still a chance for it to go higher.

You plan to sell when it reaches a certain low? Great plan! Do you plan to buy more if the price gets above $500? Most people aim to buy low and sell high, your tactics are different, I'll give you that.

I think when (and if) Bitcoin hits 5 digits, many people will sell some just to diversify their assets.

I read this twice trying to understand what you was trying to say, i failed. Do you mean if bitcoin goes down it would be forgotten or destroyed ? That may well get forgotten by the guys who are init for a quick buck and get scared because it drops a few dollars lol

But most of us will not be forgetting nor destroying coins just because it may lose some value i will be honest i am so far past the point of caring i will hold this for as long as the chain is still alive and kicking.
