The thing about a ponzi is, you can make money if you get in and out soon enough! Ponzis usually run their scam for at least a week or two and pay out initially to gain trust of everyone around. The last big ponzi was cryptcominer, who make somewhere north of $50K and then disappeared. So no harm in trying imo, unless you get out quick. Think of it like gambling on a dice site and even if you lose, you knew the risks involved, so all good!  ;D
