BitCrane T-110 - 0.75 to 0.85TH [ambient sensitive]

Those bitcranes are nice looking machines, how come it's so slow I thought they were meant to be 1.1TH and there was nothing in your guide about the lower speed.

I assume is the culprit...my hashfast systems need cold air to hit max speeds.

Our bitcrane had no problems running 1100+ at 85f or so.

In fact I just software restarted it and its been chugging along at 1TH for the last hour. One of the cores is too hot so is throttling due to my crazy ambient at the moment. Seems that over time it was losing hash rate and just needed a restart. I won't change it for now though.

How does that XBTech Pacific 1250 play with p2pool dogie? If it works with p2pool I might be interested - I'm in the UK.

Totally not interested in that VAT nonsense though..... ;)

Bump. Prices are good, people seem to be forgetting there's $200 of PSU in these, when the sale price is only $800.

They're not that good dogie, sorry. Having said that, point the XBTech at my p2pool node - if it works OK I might haggle out a price with you for it........ ;)

I'm not going to do that, sorry. If you want to link me to in hand hardware, including PSU and case at significantly lower then you're free to do so.

Dude, I just wanted to know if it works with p2pool before I buy it, as I can't get an answer anywhere else.......

But, as you wish. Good luck with your sale - and your new job, you'll need it... ;)

But I have no idea if anything is happening once I point it at your P2P node, because its your P2P node. Also you're not actually offering to buy it if works on p2p, you're saying its overpriced and if it works on p2p then you'll offer significantly lower than I'm asking.

Dogie, your guides are great - but your prices are too high, especially for gear that was given to you for free to review - and your sales pitch sucks.

What's with the attitude? Is your new Bitmaintech job stressing you out already?

I asked before for someone to link to where they're buying in hand hardware at lower prices, and have yet to receive such information. The 'buyer' before wanted me to point my mining power at his account so he could 'verify' it worked, so he could then give me a self admitted low ball offer.

1) its not free
2) VAT collection is a legal requirement. If you want to commit tax evasion thats up to you.

That must've hurt  :D ;)

.... No? The last time I updated prices was 4 days ago, so I account for mining revenue + adjust for market + bitcoin price. If all you're going to do is troll, don't post.

The Bitmain greed thing is rubbing off on you.

Bad, bad Dogie...... :D :D

That was a calc error, fixed now. The US shouldn't get anything cheaper unless its something very light.

Maybe because I'm the only one who's either 1) an established business or 2) not committing tax fraud. I don't make any money out of collecting VAT, in fact I lose 20% of everything I do in order to pay those taxes, included on this sale. The VAT collected goes directly to the government, I'm not sure what you're trying to get at.

The collection of VAT is a legal requirement for VAT registered businesses all over the world selling within their own regions. If you buy out of your region, (ie someone in the UK buying from China), you pay this VAT when it enters the country. If you buy from a non business in your region, the price won't have VAT included but will be 20% higher to begin with...

Hi I enjoy your reviews on hardware and full setup guides. I live in the uk and if i were to purchase a rockminer t1 from zeus it would cost me with vat etc 1.26btc at the current exchange rate of £199 / btc.  for brand new hardware. if I were to go to rockminer shop direct with shipping and vat is at 1.15btc for brand new hardware. I would like to purchase a T1 from yourself pay in btc even pickup? if not too far ( I am midlands based but travel) Are you open to price negotiation on the T1?

You've also got the 2-4 days shipping it round the world in there. I don't accept pickup for security as UK delivery is usually next day, BTC is fine. You're right about the price on that unit so I've dropped 0.15 off the base (+0.03 from the VAT reduction). You're free to put in an offer at any price you want.

VAT is applicable to all business types, not just those selling physical goods. But no, I don't have a shop or anything. I have limited testing capacity and need to constantly turn it over to keep it open for everyone.

I know, I too was also just saying that VAT doesn't just go on physical goods so lots of people have to register for VAT for lots of different reasons other than the typical selling stuff model.

Everyone is adding the value of VAT, they're just not displaying what part of the transaction is VAT or not. If they're not displaying VAT, then they've already paid the VAT and will be charging you 20% more. The only thing me displaying (as is legally required) what portion is the item and what portion is the VAT does it make it clear why different regions have different prices.

If the long term resellers aren't charging VAT within their region, they're probably also evading taxes. You're free to get involved with that game if you want, but I'm not.

Very interested in the Bitcrane, I'll ask my friend if we can use his company for the VAT again...

How about 1.50 for the bitcrane for EU w/o vat?

Is it possible to replace the fans with quieter ones?
