Quite interesting, but the fundamental evidence that the moon landings happened is the rocks they brought back.  Which are very, very unEarthlink on examination.  The Moon never had running water, so it's rocks have no trace of sedimentary material.  And they are all coated with vapor deposited metals - iron, titanium, aluminum from the vaporized metallic meteors that barreled into the moon. These on Earth would be oxidized and vanish into powder within a very short time, often just a few years.  On the moon a rock or particle of dust retains these coatings for a billion years.  Also, the fine dust on the surface has on microscopic examination razor sharp edges.  Sand and dust on Earth has rounded edges.

Short story, alien rocks that could not have been formed on Earth came from the Moon.

NO.  That's what I'm saying.  It may be hard to grasp this but we really are talking about rocks that can not have been made on Earth.   There really, really is such a thing as "alien" and although we have not seen it with life forms (probably) we certainly can identify rocks from both Mars and the Moon.

Researchers Amsterdam's Free University were able to tell at a glance that the rock was unlikely to be from the moon, a conclusion that was borne out by tests.

I have 4 original 1970 newspapers from the first lunar landing.  Interestingly, the pictures on the front page are actually artists renditions.  The reason, if you think about it, is that they brought back high resolution camera film and movie footage.  But they could not transmit it, except at the then-current-technology 320x240 dot analog color and black/white formats.  This would not print on newspaper, therefore they had artists do the work.

Another refutation is the actual imagrery of the Apollo landing sites, the tracks of the rovers, and the footsteps of the astronauts by the LRO in 2009-2010.  These are totally amazing.

More incredible than the footsteps on the moon from this database is the fact that the entire moon was imaged and the database is publicly available.

That's the entire moon with every rock visible down to about the size of a football.....

Lot of interesting stuff up there...here, for example, you see a couple hundred million years slow trek down a hillside of some boulders...the small ones are about three to six feet across, the large on in the middle about 15 feet across.

I was hoping to see more side-by-side comparisons of the actual luna landing photos and nvidia's renderings. There wasn't much in the article, so I searched for them:

Now, what remains for nVidia is to model the physical effect of an impact of a fragile and soft aluminium airframe into a steel-reinforced concrete building using the PhysX engine, to see how the 9/11 "impacts" should have looked like.

Yes, and Ender's Game proves that the earth is covertly at war with space aliens.  :)

This wasn't about a game, this was about ray tracing, which is a precise science. ;)
