Feathercoin will be soon (hopefully by the end of October) be changing over to Neoscrypt which will make it ASIC resistant. The devs are just ironing out the bugs on the GPU miner, they are actively doing this now, I'm reading their progress on Skype as I type as this message. I have shifted most of my altcoin 'wealth' to FTC, but then I'm part of the FTC team, but you need to make your mind up for yourself if you want to invest, so I do recommend joining the Feathercoin forum and asking questions. Good devs and community too, pretty fair.
