My first question is will it be possible for the coin to have any value when it's made to be dumped?

If you take the specifics out of your plan, you have a basic outline for every P&D coin.

If the organization is as huge as you say, and is known for it's "intelligent readership", then the possibility exists - if handled correctly - to maintain value "after the dump". This of course would depend upon many factors, first and foremost being the "organization's" depth of involvement. If they have sway - carry a lot of weight, then the mere fact that they are actively involved, and have uses that they themselves promote, then some value would almost certainly be assured.

How much? That's a different matter entirely.
