Title: PCI-E Passive Riser Cards - Has anyone ever tried them? Post by: multi#lord on May 04, 2012, 09:11:59 AM I came across several of these, and had the idea putting one in an lga1156 mini-itx to split up the single 16x slot for multiple PCI-E slots. They are apparently designed for servers, have no PCI-E controller, has anyone ever tried them out?

It is part of the spec but my understanding is 99% (# pulled out of my ass) don't and nobody indicates if they do or not. |
