Title: Google checkout service Post by: Otoh on May 04, 2012, 10:33:50 AM I signed up for Google's checkout service (merchant's cart) when it started on the off chance that it might be useful some day but have never had occasion to use it & certainly won't now, it looks even more useless than PayPal, today I received this update from them:
Google checkout Hello Otoh, Thank you for using Google Checkout to process your orders. We're pleased to inform you that we've transitioned your account from the new merchant payout schedule to the standard payout schedule. Your payouts will now be initiated two business days after you successfully charge an order. Please keep in mind that your bank may take up to three additional business days to register the payout in your account. Additionally, Google doesn't initiate payouts on weekends or banking holidays. For example, if you charge an order on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, your payout will be initiated on Monday. If Monday is a banking holiday, your payout will be initiated on Tuesday.
