Not without lots of beer. Besides, Bitcoin economics make everything else obsolete. Look forward, we're in uncharted (virtual) territory.

Margin Call (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2395782400/tt1615147) wasn't bad.

Free To Choose 1980 series by Milton Friedman. He pretty much lays down the law on economics and the implications government policies. He dispels many commonly held myths, most of which are still prevalent today.

Hulu has Enron: Smartest Guys in the Room.  But it might be expiring tomorrow?  So you might want to check it out today if you're interested.

As mentioned, Margin Call was very good.

Bad movie, but excellent at highlighting cause & effect related to differing perspectives on money:

Several episodes of "Frontline" have been about economics and the collapse. Frontline is on PBS and is perhaps the best investigative journalism on TV. You can stream it from the link below.

Excellent book, haven't seen the movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1152822/ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1152822/)

Interesting that you said Movies/ Docos...so you're interested in both documentaries and fictional movies about economics?

Some of both:

Glengarry Glen Ross (1992), Trader (1987), Quants: The Alchemists Of Wall Street (2010).

Not a movie, but anyone who hasn't seen the series Wall Street Warriors should do so (free on hulu):

It was filmed right at the '07 peak and downturn. No wonder why they stopped at season 2  ;D

With the benefit of hindsight, it is plagued with lol moments. Hilarious throughout.  :D
