I think most of these type of account has a requirement that all that data must be directly used by your website and not as a file storage. That is correct sir for almost every website host. Each server is on a dedicated 100mbps connection, if you get DDoSed you will need to use CloudFlare which we include free. They can handle up to 1-2GBPS attacks, any greater than this and you will need to find better protection. I recommend blacklotus.net.
