Title: Blockchain.info security [FUNDS STOLEN] Post by: sunshine18 on September 27, 2014, 06:22:18 AM I used Blockchain.info online wallet with VERY strong password (small, big letters, numbers, combinations with shift and so on).
Yesterday (2014-09-24 22:51:17) from my wallet were stolen 0.5037 BTC ($ 204.94) to wallet: 16aBR9c33aXBpGPeEiie5xFwqEx8jsSkZL From support I got something like they are very sorry and that it can be malware or I just shared my information of login, but in this case sorry is not enough, because we are talking about safety, how it is possible that someone just hacked it? I am using Firefox based on Windows to Login, I never ever shared login information and I also do not have any backup on my laptop of login password. Title: Re: Blockchain.info security [FUNDS STOLEN] Post by: sunshine18 on September 27, 2014, 06:52:53 AM I have not made any export :(
I also do not use their back up system. Title: Re: Blockchain.info security [FUNDS STOLEN] Post by: DiamondCardz on September 27, 2014, 08:08:25 AM Keylogger. Simple. You do not understand how Blockchain.info works and you should not make frivolous accusations, if you don't understand how it works and you really care about your "security" (while still getting keyloggers/viruses) you should probably get an offline wallet.

You do not understand how Blockchain.info works and you should not make frivolous accusations, if you don't understand how it works and you really care about your "security" (while still getting keyloggers/viruses) you should probably get an offline wallet. Except that the offline wallet can't be on the same device if he has a keylogger - it would be compromised too. Obviously, getting keyloggers and viruses is going to compromise the security of your offline wallet. I say reinstall your windows.. encrypt all the offline wallet files you have on your PC.
Also next time use 2fa authentication in blockchain that will add an additional layer of security.
