Title: Looking for a small loan .15 to .25 BTC
Post by: valaub04 on September 27, 2014, 11:12:10 PM
**IF ANYONE HAS A GUARANTEED WAY FOR ME TO PURCHASE IMMEDIATELY W/OUT A LOAN PLMK**

**If I can purchase a different alt currency that will work as a trade I'm glad to do so... haven't had time to research the variants**

**If I've left out something really obvious below I apologize in advance**

I know I am violating several of the "don't do's" at the top of this thread, but I've read and read and finally am (to my knowledge) about out of time.  Basically, I'm looking to make plays on the Ryder Cup which starts (actually final day) tomorrow morning and I play at 5dimes casino. For some reason I've yet to find out, Western Union has drastically changed their ways of allowing US customers to send internationally over the last few days. Anyway, I'm open to low amount loans at high rates and/or with collateral... as stated above I'm gambling so I'm not risk averse.

This should/will be a short term loan.  I have my verification in progress at coinbase and am just waiting on my bank account to be verified. I know I could (possibly) use coin mx but I haven't seen definitively how quickly they could be deposited and the fees seem high for the amount I'd use them (likely not again once coinbase is verified). If I win, (and what gambler doesn't always win)  ;) I can get a payout tomorrow or Monday.

Basically here si what I'd be willing to do in general terms...

.20 to .25 btc or so.
Friday (10/3) settle at latest (assume that the coinbase will be settled by then)
Interest rate I'll leave open to your discussion/decisions.
Collateral - I'm not sure what is proper but cash, some electronics, golf items, signed Cam Newton stuff, etc would be available.
I'm also a UNIX admin and could be able to offer tech skills as well if needed...

I'm not trying to sob story, scam, or anything of the like.  Worst case scenario is that I watch the golf with no action.... I've done it the last two days... (but I'd prefer to do it with money on the line as well...)

A new account with loan request as first post...... You deserved the bad trust given to you from Vod. I sometimes don't agree with all the bad trust Vod gives out, but this time I support him giving you bad trust 100%.

I don't disagree with the bad trust either... I've been around all types of forums long enough to know that my post was SURE to raise eyebrows and perhaps worse. FWIW, I had spent a good deal of time on many sites trying to learn of other ways but kept hitting brick walls. I thought of padding the post count by making some posts that would not have been substantive but decided not to do that.

As it turns out I found a (non btc) way to accomplish what I was looking to do so I'm no longer looking for a loan, and likely never will as I'm not much of a "take a loan out" kinda guy... and yes, I realize I have no foundation for that statement based on post #1 from me.

Anyway, I look forward to learning and discussing cyber-currencies and related topics with you all. I no longer need nor am I seeking/accepting a loan. I'm not sure if I should (or if I am even able/allowed) to modify the thread in any way or if that would make things worse so I will leave it as is.

Again, I don't disagree with what "Vod" did. If that is a permanent scarlet letter I hope to be able to win trust / respect back at some point.

Take care and thanks for reading all this.
