Title: Selling $500 Amazon Gift Card
Post by: Nellyx on September 29, 2014, 09:57:25 AM
I'll happily take $400 whatever that equates to in BTC for the Gift Card

Can prove I purchased it from Gyft with BTC legitimately, no credit card involved etc.

Escrow used only. Or maybe go first to those whom are trusted.

Amazon.com gift cards only work for Amazon.com, not Amazon.ca or Amazon.co.uk or anything else.

Ya you are another scammer. So you bought an amazon gift card from Gyft using $500 in BTC and you are willing to sell it for $400 in Btc on this forum. Ya sounds fucking legit! People would be fucking dumb to fall for your crap. You also have got a few negative feedbacks stating that you are a scammer. Even with an escrow i wouldn't advise anyone to deal with you. The only option would be for you to go first to really trusted members like tomatocage.

I have to agree with this (except for the last part). It makes very little sense to me why the OP would sell a gift card at a loss like this. Even if he proved that he purchased a $500 gift card via gyft it doesn't mean that he is selling you the same gift card.

Even if the OP sent first to a trusted member, there is nothing to say that the gift card would not be revoked by amazon in a few days/weeks. There is another thread about how someone bought a bunch of amazon gift cards on purse only to have them get revoked several weeks later when he tried to sell them. The apparent reason they were revoked was because they were purchased with stolen credit cards and amazon was only notified weeks later

I can prove by login into my Gyft via a screen share it was purchased legitimately with Bitcoin.

I have no need for this anymore.. who is going to buy the card at a 1:1 rate.

I wish Newbies would stop sales trashing on threads to build post count.

I've been looking at selling it on Coinclub.io but not sure if I can trust the site.

After validating the balance w. the proper code, I`d put small deposit and order my item. When its arrived I will pay the out rest.

I dont see any other way to be safe, since the balance can go bad at anytime. eg: chargeback, etc.

If you choose escrow I prefer someone like tomato cage.

I'm willing to proxy an order for you if you pay some up front to an escrow, who releases it once the order is placed and then the rest when the order arrives.

This won't prove anything. You could have used the $500 from gyfts yourself, then sell a different $500 GC that was fraudulently obtained (by you or someone you unknowingly bought it from), then giving the Tx ID from the gyft purchase.

Unless you give someone trusthworthy access to your gift account and email it was sent to, it's hard to actually verify what you're saying. The gyft account, email, Tx ID, and amazon code must all match up.

Placing an order for me does no good, since the code is still on your account w. balance.

One of many problems outside from the supposedly code bought by bitcoin. I think I`m going to pass on this, since I`ll be exposing more risk.

Sigh.. please actually read.

Like I said I'm willing to screen share my Gyft account, and the email. And if the escrow wants to view my account then they may.
Only to prospective buyers.

Initially, you offered screen share of your Gyft account, with no mention of email also. Gyft account alone is useless. You never offered email until now.

The Amazon code must be from the email confirmation sent by Gyft, and the Tx ID must match them time and amount it was purchased from gyft. I'd be interested in buying it if you're willing to let me verify myself.

This jerk is a total scammer.
Read this thread and his recent thread offering to place the order for you.
Nobody buys gift cards with BTC only to sell the same gift card at a 20% loss for BTC again.

Sounds about right lol.

If the gift code isnt applied to your account, thats red flag #1.

Another possible red flag would be the code could be wrong, that wasnt purchased by bitcoin. That was earlier mentioned above.

Indeed this is nothing more than a fraudulent credit card scam.
He may buy an amazon gift card for photos, and might even buy one with BTC for a paper trail,
But the "I will order it for you, just pay me 20% up front" part is so faulty!
Taking a 20% loss is very fake.
Buying with BTC, and selling for BTC also makes no logic.
And in the end he is just using stolen credit cards to order people stuff, and accept BTC in exchange.

Yeah, sure you did.
Those are totally legit Unaltered digital screenshots... ha ha.
I mean, it's not like you ran it through an image editor to change or hide any information...
And we all believe you spent $500 in BTC only to turn around and sell it at a 20% loss, but you wanted 20% upfront.

Seems legit.
