We are on a huge planet and there is space for more than one crypto currency and we all know it.

Shillingcoins are just like Bitcoin for late birds. We've decided to start with identical parameters just like the famous Bitcoin we all know our new Coin. If you ask yourself why do you did not participate in the first days of Bitcoin like most your answer would be you did not know about/of it, Now you have a chance to participate in Shillingcoin we might not seem special at the moment but that can/will certainly change as we know Bitcoin did and went along for many years without being widespread or even known about and then BOOM Bitcoin everywhere Take your chance and start right now! You really have nothing to lose. You can also mine Shillingcoin by yourself. The mining process is the same as in the Bitcoin world. At this time it is much more easier to get some new mined Shillingcoins than mine a fraction of a Bitcoin  ;) ;).

CHARITY:
Before we launched on 1st-of-jan 2014 we mined some Shilling coins for testing purpose, 2176 blocks to be exact. We would like to donate these coins for charity projects. What you have to do, if you would like to get some Shilling coins is.

Get yourself a address put your SHI wallet address on your project homepage and send us an email to charity@shillingcoins.com with your project and a sum up about it.

If we like your project and feel it's going to help we'll send you some of the premined coins.  ;)

SPECS:

Algo: SHA-256
Total Coin Supply: 21 million
Coins Per Block: 50
Block Time: 10 minutes
PreMine: just the smallest tad over 0.51% and under 0.52%

I have been mining Schilling coin for a while now, and am looking forward to trading it.

Currently no buyers on the exchange, but I am checking daily.  Any other exchanges that we might get listed on in the near future?

There is an OTC exchange where I will request that Schilling be added for exchange.  Website is:  https://www.bynergy.com (https://www.bynergy.com)

This could be good for those who have aging SHA-256 USB miners.

Bytecoin (BTE) (http://www.bytecoin.biz/) (not to be confused with Bytecoin (BCN)) also has a similar idea of creating a Bitcoin clone that's a 1:1 copy of the original:

Quote
About: The goal of BTE is to make a Bitcoin clone 1:1 copy. Giving people a real option to the rising difficulties of other coins while maintaining all the things that made Bitcoin so successful...

...Bytecoin is a 1:1 copy of bitcoin with a new blockchain. All specifications are exactly the same as in Bitcoin. The original goal of BTE was to make a Bitcoin clone 1:1 copy so that it could be (in the future) worth a nice bit. It also wanted to give a chance for the people who missed out on the Bitcoin launch, who are now making hundreds of thousands from it.

I guess competition is always a good thing though. :)

I wanted to deposit SHI, but the deposit address that AskCoin generated is not a valid SHI address.  Looks like a Bitcoin address.

Update:  There are 2 shilling coins. The one I have been mining is actually Schilling.

0.51% premine for 21 million coin supply is a shitload when the rest of us have to fight over 50 coins every 10 minutes

after one full week of mining you will still have half of the coin supply, even if you stop mining after the first block.  sounds like a pump n dump
