Good for you. That's false. Contrary to the belief of many Americans, United States law does not apply outside of the United States. I am required to follow Australian law, where the threshold reporting amount is $10,000 as per AUSTRAC guidelines (http://austrac.gov.au/chapter-7-amlctf-reporting-obligations) and my obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act Cth 2006. I am imposing a $1000 limit to manage risk. Title: Re: Selling Bitcoin Sydney & Australia-wide | Cash | Bank Transfer | ATM Deposit Post by: SargeR33 on December 31, 2014, 05:17:50 AM PM Sent

Seems like everything is "Down and Easy" in the aussie. I accept WU and Moneygram for U.S. citizens ;) Title: Re: Selling Bitcoin Sydney & Australia-wide | Cash | Bank Transfer | ATM Deposit Post by: SargeR33 on December 31, 2014, 05:38:16 AM Down and easy? Come here and you'll be running to go back. I live in NSW, potentially the biggest nanny state in the world.

Surprisingly the U.S. banking system is pretty broken, when you compare what our banks can do (in terms of technology) and the cost (most accounts are free).
