I have been involved in Bitcoin for a number of months now and have become ever-increasingly fascinated by the world that surrounds Bitcoin.

In my country there are a few places that except bitcoin as payment but as a whole it can be quite difficult to spend my Bitcoins. What I would like to know is what people are spending there Bitcoins on, and how easy they find it to find premises where they can spend it.

coinmap.com helps, but this is not the time to be spending. this is the time to be hoarding.

don't buy lots of bitcoins just to spend instantly. we are not yet out of innovation stage. let businesses and shops adopt bitcoin more, and also let the adoption by investors pick up to increase your hoards value. then in a couple years if you invested equivalent to 10 loaves of bread now (£$25) you will in a couple years get more then 10 loaves of bread from that same investment.

dont spend your life savings on bitcoin untill you truly understand what deflation is, but if you were to waste $£25 a week on a pizza and beer which would just end up as human waste in a toilet the next day.. you might aswell spend that to buy and hoard bitcoin, that wasy its a no loss investment. until your ready to increase your regular investments due to your personal trust and understanding of the long term benefits of bitcoin.

(hopefully thats as unbiased as i can be.. in reality i love bitcoin, get paid in bitcoin and buy rent, food and car fuel in bitcoin)

Bitcoin is now more as a storage of wealth than currency to spend.
In future, when more people uses bitcoin, I am confident that more retailers will accept bitcoin as a currency.

now you can buy almost everything with bitcoin
there are lot of merchants that accept bitcoins

just search in google what you need to purchase with bitcoin

I have every faith it will succeed. The sheer economies of scale as a payment system will force the banks and online exchanges to rethink how they carry out their business. Finding ways to spend it at the minute is difficult but there are more and more ways available to people.

I am fascinated by the whole thing but still learning and exploring other Cryptos also.......any recommendations on a good Sportsbook for Bitcoin? I have looked around and there are plenty of casinos but that is not of interest....I guess winning some at sports an alternative to mining (if you win!!!!!)

People buy stuff and things with it  :D. Whilst what you can buy is currently limited, more merchants are accepting it daily and this will grow more and more over time.

The total number of bitcoins is only 21000000, so many fans like me does not like to use it to buy something, but to collect it, wait for it to rise in value, I think those people who have a lot of bitcoin  should spend it

The btc I do spend usually goes on digital goods and pc/mining hardware, more and more business are accepting bitcoin so it's only a matter of time til we can all live comfortably fiat free ;)

To be honest, where I come from it is very limited.

A few of my friends have told me that some sites are now accepting Bitcoin for sports bets and casino games. This seems like a good idea considering banks look through your statements to see if there is gambling activity. This can have a negative effect when applying for mortgages and loans. What can't you buy with bitcoins is the question?

There are a lot of things to buy with Bitcoin. Several number of online stores like ebay start accepting BTC.

I agree with the earlier posts; now is the time to hoard, not spend.

According to Overstock.com it's bedsheets :D Well, at least according to the first statistics after they started accepting Bitcoin. It's not only electronics or computer related stuff. I believe people also like to pay their restaurant or bar bills with bitcoin, given the chance to do so!

Yes, it is now easy to find businesses that accept BTC just by searching online. And more will be accepting it as well as other online currencies.

my only use of bitcoin was to this forum removing EVIL. Other than that I don't have any use of it in Bangladesh.

It is getting easy day by day to buy most of the things even groceries with bitcoin as websites/people selling Amazon and other gift cards for bitcoins and also giving discount of 10-20%. In a few years we'll be able to buy these directly with bitcoins.

Yesterday I bought a laser pointer from the local market here and paid with Bitcoin  ;D

This is my second physical purchase with Bitcoin, and more will follow.

In my country, the government don't care what people do with their bitcoin
But they won't help you if you get scam/lose your BTC

I have really started to like this www.flutterclub.com (http://www.flutterclub.com). I have been following the news and articles tips that are being posted and they seem to be working. I've already turned 0.5 bitcoin into 1.2 bitcoin. It mightn't last but I'm definitely enjoying sport a lot more since I've started using it.

We consider, that soon everyone will be able to buy grocery in local supermarkets for Bitcoins. And not only) Hope it will become as common as other currencies.

These days I can buy almost all the things I need with bitcoin. I try to buy anything only when price is somewhat stable.

Some people love to buy donuts for their Bitcoins, other buy flats. People are so different you will not find two same among 7 billions.

People buy all sorts of weird and wonderful things with their bitcoins. There's no hard and fast set rule that you must use them to buy a certain particular good or service.

Are you from Southeast Asia? I've always wondered why people from there refer to a mobile phone or cellular phone as a handphone. Is this term used anywhere else?

I only buy altcoins with bitcoins. Altcoins are a huge market for btc, they are responsible for a large % of daily volume in btc.

I plan on earning and saving my coins for a year or two, but I then plan to use them to buy a new TV or PC. I believe they will grow over time so I'd like to hold as an investment to try get more for my money.

I use Bitcoin because I wanted to get a domain name and web hosting. Most people spent Bitcoin for digital goods.

I've bought Hot Sauces from PexPeppers.  I've also bought a little bit of Gold (just waiting for it to arrive).

Soon, you will buy everything with btc.

Pretty much all techy stuff and all kinds of weird shit that you can't easily get with dollars.
