Honk Kong protest is a methaphor for confrontation of Bitcoin and global financial system.

This is really cool. Not really a bitcoin thing, but I'm sure most of us are probably interested in the disruptive potential of such mesh networks like Firechat

Mesh and Bitcoin are bread and butter. We actually can't call Bitcoin decentralized because it actually isn't as long as it relies on private, centralized power and traditional Internet controlled by ISP monopolies. Meshnets and blockchains will have a bright future together I think.
