I personally avoid Google authenticator if I have other options to use. I don't find it as secure as Sms/voice call although I have heard theories contradicting it.Can't be arsed to be locked out of some rather important sites so it's SMS for me. When you set up a new authenticator account it gives you the seed to recover it if you lose your phone. Make a note of it and keep it in a safe place or you'll have to contact site admins or you may be locked out for good. Title: Re: What kinda 2FA you use..? if not why?
