Title: You can't have mine
Post by: spiderbrain on October 05, 2014, 11:35:16 AM
Everyone's panicking, everyone's selling. I'm not, I don't care, I only sell on the way up, and I already sold some at this price on the way up. So screw it, all the way down, I'm with you all the way, my freedom loving digital friend!

I'm going to add my stash, too, to the non-available bitcoins. Not at this price. Add a zero and I might sell one or two, but not right now.

Me too... This feels like the silver market. It will be interesting to watch this play out.

Double Digits incoming. Told you in dec 2013 that this correction will eventually lead to double digits (but could take more than 1 year).

I don't remember that chat, Richard, but you never know, you might be right. Doesn't effect me, though, I'm not selling at this price and I won't be selling at that one either.

I sold 80% of my holding during the 8xx $ dead cat bounce following the ATH in november. Wise decision.
Market was and is still way overbought.

You could possibly start your own thread to blow your own trumpet in?

No, I just love to tease you suckers  :P
Bitcoin is a gamble. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but in the end the big fishes (casino) allways win.

The big fishes at the moment seem to want me to sell, so I'm not going to. I was selling back in november, too, but back then it was rising and at an ATH. That's a good time to sell. Down trends are good times to buy, or at least, so I have found.

That's correct.
Buy in the way down and sell @ uptrends.

But we are still way to high. You can buy with 10% of your investment capital now and place orders all the way down.
Probably going to see 250$ within 4 days.

I can't disagree with you, but also you might be wrong. Rather than trying to pick the bottom I am sitting this one out and holding. You may have ninja trading skills and will pick it just right, good luck to you. I am personally more afraid of repeating some of the mistakes many traders made in the 2011 downtrend and selling at the bottom. With bitcoin at this pathetically tiny market cap compared to it possible future impact I'm not that sure it's overbought.

I told myself at least 7 times this year that the price cant go lower  wont go lower, but last week i decided i would sell (some hundred) at $370 because nobody in the bitcoin community give (me) a good answer why is the price keep going down despite of all the good news
so it was the time for me to follow the market and accumulate more coins   (i sold at $350, plan to buy back at $280 (20% more bitcoins), or buy back at $345)

Counter trend is the mistake every new trader makes. Sooner or later, the mistake will kill them if not corrected in time.

I dont need ninja skills, because I took my profits above 800$.
I don't care if I have to buy back @ 100$, 120$ or 200$. Doesn't matter. Made more than factor 20 in profits from the buy in price. It's all btc playmoney now. Can easily afford to lose all. But I invested 10 times my start investment capital in other markets now. So I have increased my wealth a little and can't lose at all (only virtual profits).

Who's the new trader? I'm up a factor of 60 since I started, how are you doing?

Why would you "sell on the way up"? That only means you are lossing money because it's going up, so you sell, but it continues going up.
Selling = lossing money unless you are a wizard that knows the future, or lucky.
