I recently upgraded my system to the following and am very satisfied. It's pretty simple. - KEF LS50 (http://www.amazon.com/KEF-LS50-Mini-Monitor-Gloss/dp/B00EPDMDZ8) - TEAC AI-501DA (http://www.amazon.com/Teac-AI-501DA-B-Receiver-Integrated-Amplifier/dp/B00CE3XTHC) - AudioQuest cables (power cord (http://www.amazon.com/AudioQuest-NRG-X3-6ft-Power-Cable/dp/B0055ONLZC), speaker wire (http://www.amazon.com/Audioquest-Single-Type--BFAS-Bananas/dp/B00770XLSE), and USB link (http://www.amazon.com/AudioQuest-Carbon-75m-2-5-Cable/dp/B0041EH0WW)) - iMac (http://www.amazon.com/Apple-ME089LL-27-Inch-Desktop-VERSION/dp/B00746WPXI) streaming songs up to 192/24 via USB link Next step is to get a new desk or some stands to perfect positioning. I think I have about 8 hours of play time on these speakers. KEF says you need 100-200 hours for perfection... o>O |
