It's expanding every day. And you can't have Govt regulation with anon... For example, cars are regulated so they are safe... and you can find out who killed your mom in a hit and run... Cryptsy is already reporting to the US govt people who trade toy alts like HoboNickels. I like NXT as a great, usable design... But wait till the SEC gets around to shutting down the $25,000,000 in ponzi-like asset bubbles on NXT... People create new asset bubbles by paying stock dividends with older asset bubbles = Ponzi, because no actual revenue. The only way to do it is completely offshore... you will not take on Wall Street and win. I do think this would be a very interesting project, but they also have a lot of hurdles to overcome.
