Title: Advertising on Twitter - CPM less than .001btc - FeedZeBirds.com
Post by: evoorhees on May 12, 2012, 08:36:08 PM
Greetings Marketplace! Greetings Vendors and Merchants!

Are you advertising your wares on Twitter? No?  But why?! It's so damn cheap!

Using FeedZeBirds.com you can create a promotional Twitter campaign and pay less than 0.001btc CPM (cost per thousand impressions). This means 1000 Twitter followers would be exposed to your message for about half a penny. The audience is not mainly Bitcoiners, but includes all different types of people around the world. So you can advertise whatever you want, or use it to spread messages you think are worthy of saying.

Again... $0.50 to put a message in front of 100,000 potential viewers?  Give it a try!

You can have a campaign launched 30 seconds from now.

FeedZeBirds.com (http://FeedZeBirds.com)

Bonus: First ten people to post your campaign URL here will get .1 btc donated to their campaign (campaign must be funded with at least .5 btc to be eligible).

I spent all day today making charts for FeedZeBirds. I hope these are helpful to advertisers.

http://www.feedzebirds.com/beaks-fed?avg=7 (http://www.feedzebirds.com/beaks-fed?avg=7)
http://www.feedzebirds.com/bitcoin-paid?avg=7 (http://www.feedzebirds.com/bitcoin-paid?avg=7)
http://www.feedzebirds.com/time-target (http://www.feedzebirds.com/time-target)

The first two demonstrate that advertising on FZB has become more cost effective recently. Impressions per day (Beaks Fed) has increased, while cost has decreased.

The third chart provides some data on campaign performance. So far the tipping point for reaching an audience of 100k cost effectively is a CPM of roughly 0.05btc.

EDIT:

I lied. I also made some charts for Coinapult. https://coinapult.com/stats (https://coinapult.com/stats)

I set up a bunch of campaigns to get stuff out quick I'll pay .01 or to get it out to thousands I'll pay .0001.  It has helped my BTC referral programs, and I think my phone promotions.

Great charts!

But I am a bit confused with the charts at http://feedzebirds.com/bitcoin-paid

What does the vertical axis mean? It shows weird numbers about 70 for day, about 10 for 7 days average and about 3 for 30 days average...  Could you please explain?

Hmmm, you are right. Something is wrong with that chart. Strangely, it only seems to affect the daily, and not the averages. I'll fix it. Thanks for the tip!

one change I'd like to see on FZB is the ability to allow someone to RT a campaign 1x a day (or some adjustable rate between 1/hr to 1/week) instead of 1 time ever.

I must be acting blind/stupid, but I can't find how to set up a campaign on that website...
