Title: Does anyone sell prepaid CCs for BTC anymore? Post by: cryptoanarchist on May 13, 2012, 05:06:19 PM It seems like every service that used to sell CCs for bitcoin has vanished or stopped selling them:
bitcoincashout.com (site gone) bitcoin2cc.com (gone) bitporium.com (no cards anymore) http://btcinstant.com (not processing orders atm) Anyone know of any other alternatives (besides OTC)?? Post by: cryptoanarchist on May 13, 2012, 05:18:08 PM http://bitccashretail.com/ is not accepting Visa orders at this time. appears to be a dead link Title: Re: Does anyone sell prepaid CCs for BTC anymore? Post by: Stephen Gornick on May 14, 2012, 05:56:16 AM If you are only looking for visa/mastercard, I don't know of anything other than OKPay's and AurumXChange's prepaid cards.
For other types of merchants: - http://www.giftcoin.net - https://www.spendbitcoins.com/convert/ (e.g., Kroger, Ralphs, Macy's, etc.) Title: Re: Does anyone sell prepaid CCs for BTC anymore? Post by: miernik on May 14, 2012, 07:31:42 AM Anyone know of any other alternatives (besides OTC)?? I know its kinda OTC, but I can get you a VISA card that can be loaded from your EUR Intersango balance. Just for now one card for testing and reporting to the group how it went - free of charge, just message me delivery address if interested. Just one card free, for the first person who asks. Of course the card is shipped empty. I admit that I didn't test it yet. If it all works out well I might later sell them for about 3 BTC (cards are probably valid about 2 years). Balance would appear on the card as soon as withdrawal is done by Intersango (usually once a day) - balance appears on the card instantly if funded from a Bank Zachodni WBK account during hours Mon-Fri 05:00-21:00 and Sat 05:00-16:00 (Central European Time). No loading fees and no Intersango 5 PLN withdrawal fee as its the same bank as they have (so no SEPA needed). Limit per single transaction: 150 EUR Max card balance: 750 EUR Max total yearly load: 2500 EUR ATM withdrawal fee: 2.50 EUR Transaction in currency other then EUR: Visa exchange rate + 2.8% (total about 3% from spot). That can be checked http://www.visaeurope.com/en/cardholders/exchange_rates.aspx by entering 2.8 in the field "Enter conversion fee (0-5%):" But the date is the date of settlement, usually about 2 days after transaction, so exact exchange rate can't be known in advance. Not possible to "unload" funds from the card other then paying with it or in ATM. |
