Is it? Recently I bought a sizable amount of it when a friend explained to me why this is a coin which is really promising and that I should get some.I wanted to ask the older fellas of the community what do they think about it because I started researching that coin thing just 2 months ago.

If you want to invest in something with a future put your money into BTSX. Forget the bitcoin clones, 90% of them are scams or pump and dump. Go for a 2.0 coin. Look at XCN as well.

As for earth coin that one has been dumped long ago.

Do not listen to anybody. Do your own study, look at the coin's community, devs. Analyse any possible other sources. Then take a decision. Your decision.

Bad? #4 on coinmarketcap.com with a daily volume of 200K USD? okaaaayy... If you are looking to get rich in crypto overnight then you need to call Doctor Who and ask him to bring you back to 2010. That time has passed and we will not see that kind of gravy train again.

By the way, Earthcoin is #188 and has a daily trade volume of $120.00. If you buy it who will you sell it to?

Bter has the most volume for BTSX and is a great exchange.

If you want to get into something new the bitshares boys are launching the Music DAC. You can buy in with BTC and then claim your coins when they launch. Earthcoin had it primetime last year. If you mined early and sold, you did a great job! Otherwise wouldnt recommend to buy any :d

It is... to some point... I used to mine on this pool http://eac.poolerino.com/ in early August,it had like 19 pool workers,now they are ~75 .I don't know how they became that much in such a short period.I dream that this one reaches 50 cents but it's just a dream  ;D

I thought earthcoin was no longer processing blocks as there was no miners.

Just because a coin is pumped doesn't mean it isn't a scam. I recall calling the gold merchant they said accepted Earthcoin way back at launch, they had no idea what an earthcoin was. Technically it is a good sign is stuff like this is being pumped though, maybe the ICO instascam stuff is running out of steam, and that is far worse.

earthcoin has been around for ages also...price is rock bottom, unless it goes in into ltc/eac territory...

ICO shit is pure shitstorm of shit.  Like shit tsunami mixed with shit volcano spewing lava-shit.  it was "invented" (its IPO also....just replaced public by coin) because greedy shit devs were getting heat with premine, then instamine, etc.  so they decided to have ICO's to pre-sell premine...sigh. 

So a couple of shadow holders pointed out the deficiencies in stealthcoin anon tech and you somehow turn that into Shadowcoin dev and community are all scammers.  Do you have any proof? No, you are just butthurt that stealthcoin didn't work out the way you had hoped.

Earthcoin's at 15th place in terms of volume today. Scam or not, that's impressive volume.
