Title: gridseed blade hw errors?
Post by: madbristol on October 10, 2014, 11:26:24 PM
hey guys wondering if you can give a new guy around here a hand been gpu mining for a while and its been going ok, i have since purchased 3 gridseed blades 40 chip. I believe ive configured everything correctly it just seems one pcb (correct terminology?) seems to be chucking out a lot of hw errors. just after ideas ive read many of the topics on this site and you guys seems to defiantly be on the ball which is why i choose this forum..

so far ive checked my config
im using coinotron pool (i know just temp for now)
the errors start after about 5 mins
checked usb plugs swapped them about along with power connector
even have a handy laser probe which measures surface temp says about 22c
im using cgminer 3 7 2 gridseed windows alt

strangely it seems to still be accepting jobs be a hardware fault or a random bug? its reached about 5000 hw after 2 hours

what freq do you use? 600, 650, 700, 750 ,800 ,825, 838, 850

keep setting it  lower  if you are above 800.   also just run the 1 blade

if the blade set at 600 or  650 running alone has issues.  different software and a different pool.

if you can not get it to work well you may have a poor 1/2 blade

hi the freq is 800, it seems strange the hw errors stop for a while around 4k, and ive noticed as soon as it hits just above 11k they seem to stop for good cant understand it personally everything seems to be within tolerance heat wise i will try your recommendations thanks for your reply i was thinking no one was going to answer  ;D
