It's a linux system on a USB stick, with drivers, miners and perl scripts all ready to go. Just write the image to the stick, plug it in, and edit two configuration files. I use it and am very happy with it. Check out the Project Development subforum as there's an ongoing thread there, to which the author regularly posts. So easy juust put it on a usb and boot from it. Title: Re: Operating System Post by: mufa23 on May 16, 2012, 07:48:13 PM BAMT for a dedicated mining rig

I tried it then and found it to be incredibly unstable with CGMiner. Title: Re: Operating System Post by: akodi on May 16, 2012, 11:02:16 PM It doesnt make a big enough difference unless you are planing on setting up a full mining farm running 24/7
Title: Re: Operating System Post by: ladida on September 15, 2012, 09:11:32 AM I prefer windows 7 as well with crossfire for the extra speed :)
Title: Re: Operating System Post by: thepwnorbpwnd on September 15, 2012, 09:13:22 AM Use Win7 if you use it as your daily/gaming rig and BAMT if you have a spare USB and want the extra speed from a mining only OS.
