Title: Anyone know what happen to LostDutchman?
Post by: Singlebyte on October 11, 2014, 06:15:52 PM
He was actively jamming out posts (3700+) for the last year and was always around.  But suddenly he has gone MIA the past few months.  Just curious why the LostDutchman is Lost!?

I was thinking about him many times.

I know that he had some health issues and after he came back from a hospital he was posting around but suddenly he's gone.

I hope that he is still somewhere there.
He is a good guy.

But when I read his last posts he seems different than he was before ...

Strange.

There is a possibility that he is banned.

Lol...that could be it.  He must still be lurking around with a new alias.  Damn, what could you do to get banned?  This forum is a forgiving as it gets!

I always keep wondering what happens to these sorts of users, the most most likely thing is they may have lost their tempers and started spamming shit all over the place rather than just putting a user pissing them off on ignore, I find it hard to believe they just got banned for pissing off the mods because if that were the case I would have been banned ages ago. I get banned off forums within what feels like 5 seconds of posting elsewhere and it's usually because I hurt the feelings of some established members or mocked the decisions of the game developers they're protecting, the people getting banned recently must have been spamming or something, that's the only thing I can think of because Vod and others are still hanging around with no problems.

Information about banned users should be available for everyone to see. I don't know why they are hiding it.

I agree, sometimes I want to know if a user is banned or just not reply PMs.
