Post by: Coinbuddy on October 11, 2014, 06:36:25 PM
As the topic says 'which type of website is still lacking in bitcoin world'.There are exchanges, many dice, gambling and market site.I will develop that site which is still lacking in bitcoin world.I think I have to create a market with some uniqiue functions like that users list everything for sell and buy and also a option to chat with buyer seller and escrower.

What do you think?

Circle comes quite close in my opinion.

OP: Try making a Bitmit-like site.

I think a site like eBay is still needed. I would name it BitBay...it would be a duplicate of eBay.

A better alert service to send out text, email, etc alerts when BTC does something you specify to alert you of.

I like this idea. Maybe add something page which show the list of escrow and their rate, trust too. First who wants to be an escrow must verify their id and show if they proper to be an escrow.

This would work but only if it was directly related to the bitcoin trust system since then we would have to rely on another external source to delegate the trust, while here on the forums we already trust the current system, adding a identify verification would be awesome and remove the people that buy accounts with trust.

Bitcoin world. Sounds nice.
In bitcoin world we need all that we can buy by paper money or credit card online, so lets see.
I know mostly what we do have, so I know what we do not have too.
Dating sites are wanted with membership that can be paid in bitcoins.
I have seen none so far.
Facebook would be great with bitcoin payments too.
Auction site like eBay, only made for bitcoins.
Hosting and domains paid with bitcoin. There is a few offering this buy main ones are still out of it.
Buy a car online with bitcoin? Why not! There are people who have enough to do it.
Plane ticket paid by bitcoin? Oh yeah, I would love it.
Google services paid by bitcoin, for sure needed too.
Cell phone shops, laptops, well hardware globaly with worldwide shipping... yes, needed.
Gift shops, t-shirts, bags, cases ... a store with "Bitcoin accepted here!"

And so on.
Even if there is some of listed, we need alots of more.
Worldwide.

I would love to see a bitcoin betfair.  I know that is a gambling site, which is obviously pretty well covered with bitcoin websites already, but I think it would be the perfect platform for bitcoin.

For those of you who don't know, Betfair is a person to person betting exchange. Not one where someone makes a market with a yes/no question and people bet, rather you can act as the bookmaker or the punter, depending on what you think will happen.  I could bet that a Horse will not win a race, allowing someone to bet on them with me.  Then free market economics take over, resulting in the odds being better than those offered by companies who need a bigger cut of the profits.#

Someone could do it, and probably will sometime.  I hope soon as Betfair is banned here in Germany!

A decentralized, automated Steam trading service. It would need to be similar to CS GO Lounge.

still lacking website?

There are always certain websites that we need, but that is entirely dependent on individual users.

For me, personally, I wouldn't mind seeing more cashback websites :)
