Title: Wiki page on securing Bitcoin sites against hacking and other problems
Post by: Mike Hearn on May 17, 2012, 12:53:11 AM
I've summarized some basic "best practices" that are often discussed on these forums here:

  https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Securing_online_services

It compares and contrasts the risks involved in using Bitcoin vs the risk involved with traditional payment systems for online merchants and traders. It sums up a few recommendations for how to avoid security breaches.

Let me know what you think and where to link it from.
